Testimonials

Our Brand is what you think it is…

A high-touch commitment in a high-tech search brings the best, to the best. The goodness of Bob’s professional practices is found in his key searches and deliveries over the past 30 years. He continues to bring the best, to the best by matching knowledge worker skills, experiences, and practices that fulfill organizational objectives, needs, and budgets. Bob’s high-touch, structured methodology delivers results that exceed expectations. I endorse and recommend Bob and Franklin Key Associates.

– Principal Project Manager, PMP, National Distributor of Natural, Organic and Specialty Food, Former CIO

Bob is the most well-connected recruiter I’ve ever met, always willing to lend a hand and give advice and make introductions.  I think you will find him a valuable asset in your search.

– Senior Director, Business Intelligence, Fortune 100 Office Products OnmiChannel Retailer

Bob Norton is the best Executive Recruiter I have worked with both for my own position and for hiring others. I recommend him to anyone who is in the market. Bob works to understand the underlying keys to the company and to the position. Once he understands those he then works hard to match those keys with the person who will fill that position. One of the characteristics that I like best about Bob is you can rely on him to be completely objective. He sees things the way they are and does the job accordingly.

– Adjunct Professor at Boston University, Former CIO

I have worked with Bob since 1990. He is a great recruiter who listens to what you are looking for and then asks well thought out questions that in some cases I never considered. A master of the recruiting world, knows where everyone is located and who has the “right” skills. Don’t be surprised when you get a call around the phantom employee, always an interesting call. I continue to listen to his thoughts and certainly his professional advice.

– Vice President Sales, Global Direct Marketing Database Company

[Edit: RE: Job Definition Session] “I’ve benefited from this process from the other end of it: Over a decade ago, Bob represented me with a mid-sized software company (MediaMap, since acquired) for an executive position I subsequently was offered and took). Great guy to work and collaborate with! Highly professional, highly competent, and highly personable.”

Principal,  Business Execution Coaching and Consulting Company

“I’ve known Bob for years — a great executive recruiter — would recommend him to anyone! “

– Consultant and Principal at Aging in Place Technology Watch,  former CIO and IT Industry Analyst

Bob Norton is a recruiter that I have known for many years – however, more than being a recruiter I consider him a trusted advisor on career matters, whether you’re looking for yourself or seeking to fill openings.

– CTO, Healthcare Analytics Company

[To his Chief Recruiting Officer] I have indeed known Bob for 25 years and can tell you that he’s one of the good guys.

“…I was glad that I applied since it gave me an opportunity to speak with you. I saw a great difference in your overall and professional approach and the logical thought process on arriving at the solutions. I must say I am impressed with your logical approach.”

– Director, Applications, Global Healthcare Provider

– CTO, VP of Development, Messaging Management

Bob – Thank you for your time today and this is great information. I will review and rewrite my resume to ensure that the readers understand the business challenges and the affect of the work me and my teams did. You gave me a similar critique many years ago and it resulted in my job (as CIO) at Au Bon Pain.

– VP, CIO, Global Urban Restaurant Chain

I’ve been dealing with Bob for years and although he has never placed me anywhere, his style is different than other recruiters I’ve worked with. He spends more time with potential candidates and tries to look at their overall work experience and accomplishments. By obtaining an understanding of what the person has accomplished over the years, he then presents the overall work experience and how it could benefit a group looking to fill a position, or even by creating a new position that didn’t even exist prior. Most other recruiters focus on the specific product “check list” and try to find a person who has as many of the items on the list as possible. Bob focuses on what the person has done and not necessarily the specific product “check list”.

– Analytics Developer, 3D Design, and Product Data Management Software Company

I’ll work harder on these and ask for your suggestion/help for clearing any further confusions if any . I am extremely grateful for all of your helpful suggestions. Thank you very much for your motivating suggestions.

I have had numerous folks review my resume, linkedin and professional outplacement do the same – and yet you have given me a different perspective (actually several ideas). Hi Bob, Thank you again for your time – you have given me much to think about and review. I have had numerous folks review my resume, linkedin and professional outplacement do the same – and yet you have given me a different perspective (actually several ideas). Thus my comment to you about getting more in the help the unemployed directly as opposed to the hiring companies that don’t seem to be listening to you – silly as that is.
