On Thursday, January 31, 2013, the Temporary Workers Right to Know Law goes into effect. Recruiters and staffing professionals who place temporary or contract labor in Massachusetts need to be aware of how this law will affect their business.
The new provisions apply not to professional/office workers but to hourly laborers to assure they are effectively communicated the direct client name, location, transportation, meals, safety equipment requirements, hours and duration, wages, etc. before commencing the assignment.
